The Awakening
Argh!!! Nonono, my heart can't take this kind of cliff hanger. It's too much like Moffatt and Sherlock season 2! That being said, I do love this series so and hope we will get the fourth one soon. The writing is wonderful, it's fast and interesting. It also makes me feel I am part of the world and adventure that Reece, Levi, and the others have embarked, which makes it even more amazing. It was so well done that when I finished it I had felt like I had watched a movie the whole time instead of reading.
I love the characters, and quite partial to Harrison, though the others are wonderful too. The romance between the characters are sweet, but did not detract from the story nor feel like a crutch to help the story move along. At the same time, it was nice to see as it did help strengthen the characters to their loves as well as everyone around them.
The ending was the only thing I did not like about the series, but that's because it was a cliffhanger. A severe one at that, as you see by my third sentence of this review. Left me hanging and worried. With her enemies still out there, especially since one has tried to get her killed twice now! Even though she is locked up, I still worry for Reece's safety!
